Are you unable to control how much alcohol you drink? Do you easily lose count of how many drinks you’ve had?

Do you find yourself drinking alone or trying to hide your drinking from friends and family?

Do you have certain times during the day when you have made a habit of having a drink? Do you get irritated when your drinking schedule is interrupted?

Do you ever black out because of your drinking?

Do you ever feel like you need to drink?

Have you lost interest in your hobbies or activities? Do you find yourself doing less?

Do you have alcohol stashed in unusual places?

Have you had financial, legal or relationship problems because of your drinking? Trouble at your job?

Do you experience physical withdrawal symptoms when you go without alcohol? Do you sweat, shake, or experience nausea?

Have you lied in your answers to any of these questions?

An alcoholism test isn’t a witch-hunt. It’s not meant to embarrass or anger you if you find yourself answering yes to any of these questions. This alcoholism test is here to help you realize you may need help with your drinking problem. You may not want to trust or believe in the answers you’ve found here, and that’s fine. The true alcoholism test will come from your family, friends, and all of the people who care about you.
